About Us

Overview

The Martinez Area CERT Foundation raises and distributes funds for the operation of the Martinez Area Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity recognized by the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board to accept tax deductible gifts.

Established in 2021, the Foundation is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors and at-large community members from the Martinez Area CERT organization sponsored by the Martinez Police Department.

The Foundation operates independent of city and county government. Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws can be found on our website. (See below.)
